Where it all began

Before I became a lightworker, I was a divorced single mother with no money.

After the divorce I was left paying loans I had not taken out myself. A large part of my salary went straight to them every month. My mother brought us bags of food and bought shoes and clothes for the children. In Finland a child needs new ones for every season, and children grow fast.

The hardest part was not the money. The anxiety was constant. I remember seeing my own life force as a thin thread. It was still there, but only barely. It was survival, not living.

I tell you this only so that you know: I am not speaking to you about anything I have not lived myself.

◆ The angels became real ◆

Where are my feathers?

I was sitting in my car, crying. And complaining out loud to the angels.

Everyone else gets feathers. A feather on the path, a feather in a pocket, a feather as a sign from you. Why do I not get a single one? Where are my feathers?

It was a heavy day. I wanted help. I needed help. And in that moment it felt like I had been passed over.

That same night they answered. And it lasted the whole night.

There was no dream, no story, no order to any of it. Every time I began to fall asleep, I was woken into something new.

I woke and felt that there were angels in the room. They were hovering above me and talking to each other. One of them lowered itself toward me, and energy came down from it, like a feather slowly descending. And then it began, what I call the love attack.

In that love there was, all at once, a mother's love for her child, a child's love for her mother, the love of lovers and the love of God. There was so much of it that it frightened me. I had never felt anything like it in my life. There was nothing dark in it, it was simply that vast.

I closed my eyes. I tried to sleep. I woke again, opened my eyes, and the whole room was full of light. Beside me was a bright light that filled everything.

I tried again. Now I am going to sleep. And that was when I saw a black and white angel blinking like a radio transmission. Blink, blink, blink.

In the end it was almost comical. The angels found every possible way to get my attention. Here, this is your feather. Here. Is this good enough?

Oh my goodness. This is my feather.

In that moment came peace. Not a shred of doubt was left about whether angels are real. And I was allowed to sleep.

That is why I teach about angels the way I do. I do not have a single doubt that they are real. That night I felt their power, and I knew they were still holding most of it back. There is so much more. I do not need a feather any more.

◆ The calling ◆

The evening I told the angels: use me

Some years after my angel experience I was still living in Finland. My children were small, I was a single mother, and I was trying to get through each month financially.

I had already found the angels. I knew they were real. But my own life still felt very heavy.

One evening I was so tired that I no longer knew how to keep going the same way.

I cried over all of that responsibility, worry and constant surviving. I loved my children more than anything, and it was not that I wanted to leave my life. I was simply so spent that there did not seem to be anything left in me to try with.

In the end I said something to the angels that came straight out of that complete surrender:

I do not know what I am supposed to do with this life of mine. But if there is still something in me you can use for good, use me. If I can help people, show me how. I say yes.

And then something happened that I still find hard to explain without it sounding like a scene from a film.

I felt a powerful energy move through me.

Nothing visible happened. No physical wind rose in the room, there were no special effects around me. But inside me it felt as though an enormous divine current had swept through my whole being.

The tears stopped as if they had hit a wall.

I sat completely still and thought: What did I just promise?

There was even something slightly funny in it. A moment earlier I had been crying and telling the angels to take me into their service completely. The next moment I was sitting upright, wide awake and very aware that I had been heard.

There was nothing frightening in the energy. It felt bright, loving and absolutely divine.

Today I understand that moment as the activation of my soul contract.

I do not mean by that that I am more important than anyone else, or that I was given some position above others. I mean that something in me remembered why I was here.

I had agreed to give my gifts into the service of the light.

After that my life began to move.

Not so that everything appeared overnight, or that I did not have to do anything. But a route I had not seen before began to open in front of me.

Clients started coming. I was asked for interviews. I ended up on Finnish television programmes, on radio and in magazines. I found myself writing my first book. I started training others. And soon my dream of moving to the United States, which had felt impossible, began to come true.

One step led to the next.

That evening was over twenty years ago, and there has not been a day when I have not been grateful for this work.

Serving does not mean making myself small, living in poverty or giving up my own life. It means that my gifts do not exist only for me.

This work has also brought me abundance, freedom, experiences and a life I would not have dared to imagine back then. But at the heart of all of it is still the same promise I made that evening:

If I can help, I will help.

That is why I tell my clients that your dreams coming true is part of my dream too.

When you free yourself from old programming, remember your own power and begin to live the life you came here for, I am fulfilling my own purpose. That is what I said yes to then. And I say yes to it still.
